Canadian Parents for French Appoints New President and Vice-President to the National Board of Directors
Meet our new President and Vice-President. Derrek Bentley was appointed President, he served previously as Vice-President. The new Vice-President is Kate Peters, who previously served as Treasurer.

Students across Canada shared their experience with the pandemic in the virtual competition #EnsembleàDistance. For the first time ever the CPF public speaking competition, Concours d’art oratoire, was a virtual contest with participants submitting videos.

Canadian Parents for French Recipient of ‘Bilingual Ottawa’ Grant with ‘More French S.V.P! for our Military Families’ Project
ACFO Ottawa awarded CPF a grant of $22,000 for a one year period starting immediately. One of the priorities in the Government of Canada's Action Plan for Official Languages – 2018-2023, is to support initiatives that enhance the bilingual character of Canada’s capital.
